Memory Monday

For the official low-down on Memory Mondays, go here. 🙂

Last week I memorized:

“Blessed are the undefiled in the way, who walk in the way of the Lord. Blessed are those who keep His testimonies, those who seek Him with the whole heart. They also do no iniquity; they walk in all His ways.” Psalm 119:1-3

And now, for this week…

“You have commanded us to keep Your precepts diligently. Oh that my ways were directed to kieep Your statutes! Then I would not be ashamed when I look into all Your commandments. I will praise You with uprightness of heart when I learn Your righteous judgments. I will keep Your statutes. Oh, do not forsake me utterly.” Psalm 119:4-8

Brenda, thank you for quizzing me yesterday! It helps to have someone stop you and ask you to recite your memory verse!  I am asking you all to hold me accountable in this, so if you think of it on Mondays… swing by here and make sure I’ve posted my verses for the week, ok? And if you see me at church during the week, be sure to ask me about it!

For next week, continuing on in Psalm 119, verses 9-12:

“How can a young man cleanse his way? By taking heed according to Your word. With my whole heart I have sought You; Oh let me not wander from your commandments! Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You. Blessed are You, O LORD! Teach me Your statutes.”

How about you? Will you commit to hide God’s Word in your heart this week?
